Trampoline is a new media art organisation, based in Nottingham and Berlin promoting the innovations of emerging artists on both a local and international level. Emma’s presentation will be concerned with how new media art can come to terms with the struggle between the local and the global.
Trampoline has been particularly examining pervasive and locative media, which are making significant challenges to our concept of location and our interaction with different environments. Emma is concerned with connecting places and facilitating a meaningful dialogue. She will be discussing the works of some of the artists which Trampoline is currently working with including Blast Theory and Active Ingredient and will present some of her personal projects which aim at creative communication between different spaces.
