Shunsuke Onaka
born 1975, in Ube, Yamaguchi; poet, graphic designer. Onaka had been publishing some poems in “Wasteland” magazine (Arechi Shuppansha) , self-editing free leaflet “Rude Chair” until 2003. In 2004, He became one of the founding members of “art space tetra”, an independent space for art, music, and other activities in Fukuoka, and has been involved in organizing the photo exhibition series called “According to What”. “Calamari Inc.” is an design office which was established in 2007 by Keiji Tanaka and himself. Needless to say, “Calamari” is named after the finnish film director Aki Kaurismäki's masterpiece “Calamari Union”. His first collection of poetry “CUL-DE-SAC” was finally out in this spring, from Mizome Shodo.
