Enrico Malatesta
(*1985, CESENA - ITALY )
is a percussionist active in the field of contemporary music.
He studied classical percussion instruments at the "Bruno Maderna" Conservatory in Cesena, and his personal activity and research is aimed at the redefinition of the role of the percussionist in different contemporary areas, studying the acoustic dimension and the material quality of percussion instruments.
Besides his ongoing solo and ensemble projects he's also active performing works from the soloist repertoire of the 20th Century, including graphic scores by John Cage, Morton Feldman, Philip Corner, Earle Brown.

He frequently works with percussionists Christian Wolfarth and Seijiro Murayama and he is a founder member of the percussion ensemble Glück; also works with musicians like Giuseppe Ielasi, Stefano Pilia, Robin Hayward, Lorenzo Senni, Tristan Honsinger, Philip Corner, Ingar Zach, Burkhard Beins, Urs Leimgruber, Manuel Mota, Eli Keszler, Dominique Vaccaro, Luciano Maggiore, Nikos Veliotis, Franz Hautzinger, Matija Schellander, Renato Ciunfrini, Jonas Kocher, Katsura Yamauchi, Eugene Chadbourne, Michael Vorfeld, Ingar Zach, Vinko Globokar among others ,and playing concerts in all over Europe, Japan and South Korea.

His work is released by the Italian labels Presto!? Records, Second Sleep, Senufo Editions, Die Schachtel

Renato Ciunfrini
Free contemporary musician.
Born in Roma 1958, interested in universal sound; multi instrumentalist focussed in contrabass clarinet, clarinet, clavichord, voice,
electronics.
He began, still an adolescent, to practice solo and group improvisation investigating the infinite possibilities of free music.
At that time he met composer Franco Evangelisti and group Nuova Consonanza whose influence impressed and encouraged him to
keep on researching.
He studied clarinet and saxophone with Nino Russo and Sal Genovese.Later with Steve lacy, among the others.
He meets musicians and artists of every race, age, religion and share energy with performers, actors, dancers, film and video
artists. Creates music for documentaries, movies, theatre. Plays with silent movies.
He played with Gino Robair, Bob Marsh, Enrico Malatesta, Ly Than Tyen, Ken Hyder, Seijiro Murayama, Tristan Honsinger, Mori
Shige, Naoto Yamagishi, Caroline Kraabel, Hans Kock, Mike Cooper, Paed Conca, Mazen Kerbaj, John Berndt,Jack Wright,
Michael Zerang, Tim Hodgkinson, Burkhard Beins, Jonas Kocher, Mario Retchern.
