展覧会「匿名の女性たち」

【Outline】
The situation in Myanmar changed completely due to the military coup d'etat on February 1, 2021. Peaceful demonstrations by the people have been cracked down by military violence, resulting in numerous casualties, including children and women. In this exhibition, we will introduce nine "female" Burmese artists "anonymously" from among the artists who are still active to show the path of rugged democratization. We hope that by providing an opportunity to think about freedom of expression and "anonymity", we can stimulate discussions in Japanese contexts and contribute to the democratization of Myanmar.
