４才よりピアノを始める。エレクトロニカ、アンビエント、インダストリアル、ドローン、ノイズ、ハウス、ヒップホップ、フリージャズ、近現代ミニマル音楽などに影響を受け始め、そのような異種な音楽要素を凝縮した独自のスタイルを確立すべく、今までの音楽経験を元に2022年よりトラックメイキングを始める。

Layla began playing the piano at the age of four. Influenced by a wide range of genres such as electronica, ambient, industrial, drone, noise, house, hip-hop, free jazz, and modern/contemporary minimal music, she began producing tracks in 2022, drawing on her musical background to develop a unique style that fuses these diverse musical elements.

曽我部恵一とJunes Kによるコラボシングル“Breath”が2024年7月3日にリリース。1991年生まれ、福岡県在住。ビートメイカーとグラフィックデザイナーの顔を持ち、その類い稀な才能でOTAIRECORDが開催する「ビートグランプリCLASH 2019」で優勝。OLIVE OILとPOPY OILが主宰する【OILWORKS】からアルバム3作をリリースし、環ROYへのREMIX提供、2022年1月リリースの楽曲「Songbook」がSpotifyグローバルのビッグプレイリスト『Fresh Finds』にピックアップされる等、今注目を集めるビートメイカー

Born in Fukuoka, Japan, Junes K is the winner of OTAIRECORD's "Beat Grand Prix CLASH 2019," a grand prix for beatmakers. He is highly respected among other beatmakers for his production speed and quality, as well as his unique worldview on sound. His style is based on hip hop with a touch of electronica. His music succeeds in pulling listeners into his colorful sound world of instrumental hip hop music.。

Jugaad

「ジュガール（Jugaad）」は、インド発の言葉で、直訳すると「即席の工夫」や「機転を利かせた解決法」という意味です。限られた資源や条件の中で、創造力や柔軟な発想を使って問題を解決する方法や精神を指します。たとえば、壊れたものを身近な材料で修理したり、既存の道具を別の目的で使ったりするような、実用的で創造的な工夫が「ジュガール」です。近年では、アートやデザイン、ビジネスの分野でも「持続可能で柔軟な発想」として注目されています。

Jugaad is a Hindi word that refers to a clever, resourceful way of solving problems using limited resources—often through improvisation, repurposing, or creative adaptation. In the context of sound and music, jugaad speaks to a spirit of innovation driven by necessity: using nontraditional tools as instruments, recording in makeshift environments, or crafting unique sonic experiences with whatever is at
hand. It’s about rethinking what music can be when convention is set aside and creativity leads the way.
