笹久保伸レクチャーライブ 記録者の芸術/秩父前衛派の実践

We are delighted to welcome Chichibu-based musician Nobu Sasakubo back to art space tetra in Fukuoka after a three-year hiatus, as part of his Kyushu tour in the latter half of December!

Following his work collecting and researching music in the Andean rural regions, Mr. Sasakubo founded the art collective "Chichibu Avant-Garde" in Chichibu. He has since been engaged in multi-faceted activities, including research into local beliefs, folk songs, and history, while also confronting the environmental issues surrounding Mt. Buko.

Part I is a lecture-performance by Mr. Sasakubo, a musician and documentarian, on his artistic practices concerning Mt. Buko, interspersed with musical performances. Based on special lectures he gave this year at Tokyo University of the Arts and Tama Art University, he will share his insights along with documentary materials such as photographs, videos, and sound recordings.

Part II features a dialogue between Shunsuke Onaka, a poet and graphic designer, and Nobu Sasakubo. The talk will be moderated by Gohei Miyoshi, representative of Sansei-sha.
